Sweet things your pet does...
What kind of sweet or weird things does your pet do? I wear my slippers in the house and take them off and leave them in the foyer or on the bottom stairstep. I usually tell my mini Doxie that I'm going out and will be back soon. While I'm gone he gets one of my slippers and takes it and puts it on the couch next to him. It never fails...there's always one shoe missing and he has it. He's two now, but has done this since he was a puppy. I like to think that it's a comfort thing for him 'cause he misses me! So what does your pet do?

How cute!
One of my dogs, Molly, has about a dozen balls in the house. She ALWAYS has one in her mouth. She even sleeps with a ball beside her. We call them her pacifiers LOL.
Also, when you have food, she will drop a ball in your lap, sit and wait for you to give her something from your plate. It took us a bit to figure out that she wanted to trade! That's her prize possession for some viddles LOL

My lab will also take one of my slippers when I leave the house. She takes it and lays her head on it until I get home.
The same dog, when I get up in the morning, will have her tennis ball or rope toy in her mouth waiting for me on my way to the bathroom.
Molly, our youngest cat, will wait until the kids go to bed to come out of hiding. Then she sprawls out on her back at dh's feet waiting for her nightly belly rubs. She does this when he gets up in the morning too.

My sweet little dog Ruby always waits patiently when I get home for me to say hi to her. She just comes up and sits beside me until I kneel down to pet her. Then she sits on her behind and puts her two front paws up on me and almost like "hugs" me. It's so sweet!!

Our rescue pup/muppett Rufus has several torn up stuffed animals and when we say "time for bed" he HAS to get one to bring to bed with him. We call them his "babies". When he gets tired he lets us know it's time to go to bed by picking it up and running around whining.
It's freakin adorable!

These are so cute. We have three cats and each one has a different personality.
Wolvie, the oldest, doesn't like to be held (dd is 9 and she has always wanted to pick them up) but he loves to have his head and ears rubbed. When we do this he purrs so loud the whole house can hear it.
Brat, the beautiful long haired sweetie, lets dd dress her up and hold her. She is kind of quiet but when she meows it is the sweetest sounding meow. Real quiet and sweet just like her. When she goes outside she loved to chase birds and gets into a small tree and aggravates them and their eggs. The birds will fuss at her and swoop down on her and she just lays there like nothing is going on. She also brings us treats. Last spring I heard her outside making a funny crying sound. I thought she was hurt but after opening the door and looking at her she had a baby bird in her mouth. I freaked out and got the baby bird out of her mouth. I thought the little bird was dead but as soon as I put it on the ground it flew away. I told my aunt about this. She loves animals and is an expert on their behavior. She said that Brat was bringing me the bird to thank me for taking care of her. When spring rolled around this year I told dh it would only be a few days until she would bring us something and the next day she appeared at the door crying and had a lizard in her mouth to give to us. LOL
Baby, is a little timid thing. We found her in the woods across from our house. She was just a baby barely old enough to be weaned. We fed her and watered her but she wouldn't let us touch her. She would always go back into the woods after she was done eating and would always show up in time to eat. Finally this winter was so cold so we made her come in the house. She didn't like all the noise and would hide most of the time. She finally got used to us and would actually jump up on the couch and "talk" to my hubby. When she meows it sounds like she is "Yeah". So hubby will ask her silly questions and it sounds like she is saying yeah. Since it has become warm and they are outside more, she has gone back to only coming around when it is time to eat.~Non-Mortgage Debt: $2,440.95~

My parents have 2 cats and 2 dogs and they all deffinately have their own personalities.
Christopher (my dog and is the oldest) will answer you if you ask if he wants to go outside. If you ask he will bark at you and it almost sounds like he says "yes" and "out".
Delilah (2nd oldest of the animals) will cry if she's left in a room alone. And I mean literally tears will flow.
Tasha (3rd oldest) Doesn't like to be picked up but if you sit somewhere she wants to be then you will have a fat cat in your lap. She loves laying on laps.
Noah (youngest) Likes to meow as loud as possible all the time. It's not only when he's hungry either. He will pace the house from the kitchen, behind the couch, back the hall, into all the rooms that the doors are open and back to the kitchen, whineing and meowing all the time.Chele

my elderly lady cat, scottish fold, TELLS me when it's time to go to bed, and gets bent out of shape when i don't come.
i go to the bathroom with two sets of feline adoring eyes staring at me. they both follow me around as i do my "shower/make lunch/go to work" routine.
my other cat, a male kitten who showed up at my door, is now full size. amazing what a little food does. anyway he is like a dog "throw the ball, throw the ball". he tickle-bites my toes to wake me up.11% gross to retirement

our two boys (cats) hear the garage door opening and we always find them waiting like a couple of dogs at the interior door for us to come in...
baxter the youngest has a toy mouse that looks like the real thing...he carries it around with him and we have named it his 'baby' also....we tell him to go get his baby and he does...then he flings it up in the air repeatedly and grabs it and flings it some more...
mention the word 'dinner' and you have rush-hour traffic to the kitchen...
baxter tells us what time it is for b-fast each morning by standing on us and 'screaming' as loud as he can till i get up and feed them....(it usually starts around 4:30 am...ugh)....
harley is shy & quiet and that makes him so adorable...he doesn't want to be held but loves to cuddle....and he also 'talks'...ask him something and he answers with the sweetest little 'meow's....
baxter knows how to get to you by laying flat out on his back with back legs stretched one way and arms stretched way over his head..belly exposed...staring at us...we call it his 'sexy look'...and he sure knows how to work it....
at bedtime dh announces "last one to bed is a rotten egg" and they both race at top speed to be the first one to the bedroom... it's hysterical...

My beagle HAD to go out even though it was pouring for the last time before bed. He is drenched when he comes in. Just stands by me looking up. He was saying well dry me off or i"ll have to shake.

My Mom takes her cat for a walk each day. He stops and pees at each tree. He also brings her his leash in his mouth when he wants to go for a walk.
My oldest cat sits and watches (with
my hubby) YouTube videos. If hubby turns them off, he will sit on the keyboard until he plays another one.
When someone comes to the door that we know our Rottie says ' I wuv you' .... Really!

My bunny, Snooper, tonight was hopping around the basement and it was time to go in her pen. I was walking around trying to coral her because she kept hopping away and then she thought it was a fun game and she did her little bunny hop/jig where she does a little hop with a twist in the air - letting me know she's having fun with me. I started laughing at this little rascal.

One cat does not seem to like men. She will stand at the top of the stairs and basically go off at them. She also likes the smell of coconut oil. If I heat the oil up in a pan she will start rolling around on the ground and starts meowing. When I brought her back from the vet one day she started standing on her hind feet and "wiping" the mirror in the bedroom with her front paws. Still does this. Why I don't know.
The other cat likes to go under the covers for her nap. She will stand on the bed yelling expecting me to take a nap or pull down the covers. At night around bedtime she will stand on the bed and yell for me. Sometimes she will play handball with one of her fuzzy balls. I will throw it against the wall and she will go and jump up and hit the ball with a stretched out front paw.
Both come running when I ask "who wants treats". I tell them to sit which they do, and they patiently wait while I give each one a treat.
And of course, they snore!
Right now she is standing on my lap purring away. Her bony little feet are digging into my legs. lol

My Dad has a bad back and it hurts to bend down so whenever he asks his mini Doxie if she wants to go out, she barks and then goes up on the stairwell about three steps so that he doesn't have to stoop so much to put her lease on. She will also get the leash if it's within reach somewhere. She also does this when she visits us although we don't have trouble stooping.
