We went to pick out a 'clearance' gecko for dd. She picked a hatchling, 4 mo old really cute. All she needs is a heater... no problem.

HOWEVER>..... MOMMY went and fell in love with a gecko while there. She is a 5yo, with a handicap and has the most darling personality. She is really cheap, not a giveaway, but close enough. She is healthy, just has a thing with twisting her head to the side all the time. BUT, I don't have room for a tall aquarium. The one space I would have for her is 10 inches. Not the 12 that a small aquarium would need. She is so quirky, and actually cuddly when you hold her. She is unwanted as a breeding, as since she is 5 years old, no one really wants her cause she's lived 1/2 her life... i'd like her if I could figure out a cost effective enclosure for her.

I'm trying to think of what would give me a 12x24 floor space, be clear, frugal that would be able to have heat tape as they need belly heat.
