Questions to Ask Foster Cat "Mom"
I'm going to be adopting two male kitties (age 1) in a few weeks from a foster cat mom. I've always had cats that were strays - never getting them through cat rescue organizations. I'm wondering what questions I might ask her (I already have what kind of food, litter, litter boxes they like and she will be providing me with their health records that they have had vaccinations, etc). Any other questions I should ask? Thanks for your help!

Are they used to being picked up/cuddled? Have there been children in the house with them? (In both cases it affects how they react to being touched/held) Do they have a scratching post yet? (Get one asap) What kind of toys do they prefer? Are there any "problems" (hissing, peeing in the corner, drapery climbing) that you have to address? Luckily they are young and you can teach them to be good little kitties.

You might want to ask if she has trained them. If so what does she use. ie. water bottle. Find out about their personality.
And do not forget to post PICTURES!!!!

Just wanted to say Congratulations on getting your new babies, you are going to have so much fun with them!
You might ask her if you can call her if you forget to ask something.
(My 19 year old still see's her foster Mom once a year or so. She cat sits when we go out of town or vacation. You might see if she furbaby sits if you go on vacation)Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.
