When I was a kid my sister and I would bathe our long haired dog, then "set" his hair in pincurls. Poor dog!

    I do it @ home.

The dogs are all short haired, so no need for haircuts. Nail trims are done at home.

Also trim the cats nails, but I don't bathe them unless I have to.

Everyone takes a bath in my tub. Lucky me.

I give mine a bath in the tub. She is a Saint so she is 120 pounds, all i have to say is you wanna bath. she slowly hides. But getting her upstairs is the hard part. When she is once in there she does great, infact she leans back on the shower surround and getting soap out of her takes forever. From starts to finish its about 2 hours. Then after the bath she takes off running through the house.I have taken the dryer to her before. But now let her dry on her own. It's like giving a horse a bath.

My grandmother had a miniature shetland sheepdog and she used to jump out of the tub and rub against anything she could. There was always lines of dog hairs on the cabinets in the kitchen and on the leather couches. LOL

My dog will go swimming in the pool, but only with me. So when I give him a bath, it's in the bathtub, but I have to step in first. lol

I have a 200 lb dog who likes her showers. She'll step in the shower stall, turn around and sit down and wait for you to lather her up.

My Lhasa goes to the groomers every 3-4 months. She doesn't get a bath unless had an upset-stomach-situation.

Other dogs only get a bath if absolutely necessary, I wash them in the bathtub but recently my cousin recommended trying them with the walk-in shower (has an extended shower hose, same as tub bathroom does) she says her dogs will walk right in. Doubt mine will but I may try it next time, I see others are doing this as well. Hm!

My hedgehogs get a bath about once a month or every 2 weeks depending on their condition. Sometimes they stay really clean and other times they smell as if they haven't been bathed for a year.

The cats have only been bathed when they were kittens and couldn't clean themselves properly

The Lhasa gets a bath once a week or he gets stinky. He goes to the groomer for clipping every 3-4 months.

The two shelties get a bath about once a month. The one with allergies usually 2x/month.

The lab gets a bath once a year.
