Apparently there is a family of skunks in the back of this complex. It skunked my neighbor while he was walking his dogs. I have yet to see them.

We've got tons of wildlife out here. Deer that come right up on the breezeway, I always scare them to death for their own good. If they start getting used to me then when the poachers come to get them their goose will be cooked. Raccoons, possums & skunks that are always and forever giving me a fright at night. We have Peter, Peter 2, And Peter 3 that live in our herb bed. I feed a squirrel I named nutters, he's now brought along he friend. They show up every morning for their peanuts. Shhh..my DH would have a fit! and just the other day a baby chipmunk? was on the breezeway and not in the least concerned about me. Of course there's the foxes, they come Way Too Close since the Suki & Iggy died. They are not worried about me at all. All night long they cry like babies right outside our back door

Well the squirrel was back this morning. Apparently a little angry that we (cats and I) were not at the balcony door looking out. I looked outside to see the squirrel resting one hand on the small planter looking inside at me with its other hand on its waist. It was pretty funny to see a squirrel standing there looking inside. Had to stop myself from feeding it.

    Same here!

I have squirrels that come down from the wire they travel on to bury the damn walnuts though........my dogs won't even chase them! (some watch dogs!)

I pulled up NO LESS than 15 'walnut tree' starts in my yard this year!!

Well I noticed the squirrel was back again. Both cats were watching it very carefully. The squirrel decided to climb the screen to the sliding glass door again. This time the cat tried to attack it so I saw my cat leaping in the air trying to take it down. All you heard was a thud from the cat hitting the sliding glass door. The squirrel continued walking around on the screen door.

Atleast my cat got a little exercise. lol
