    Default grrr cat

So. Here I am sick and miserable. Lost my voice, sore throat etc. Great time to curl up on the couch with a hot cuppa tea and the cat. I was sitting there petting her and out of the blue she freaked and tore me up. My arms are clawed, and she tried to get my face too. It's not that great to start with but I don't need it all scratched up. So now I am sick, bummed out, and bloody (not really, I mean, I did go clean it up after she clawed me.)

    sorry for you!!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to pick up thomas and a towel hanging off the counter brushed his ear. He completly freaked and I had bloody arms, legs, hands and feet before I could drop him.

Their "I'm under attack" instinct seems to be really high!

Has she at least tried to apologize?

I don't get how this is funny?

Hope you feel better soon, Missy.

    I guess I owe a few stories..

MIL came home from a trip, bragging how her cat was so affectionate because she was gone. The NEXT day she was cussing about how the cat came walking up to her and TORE her up.

SIL.. much the same thing.. always bragging about her cats, and for no reason, tore her up.

    Apologies if I offended.

Ican understand being sick though... been there for 8 days now. Hope you feel better.

I hope you feel better soon.

At least it's not a cat bite!

Dd(16) got bit by our cat over the weekend and had to get a shot of antibiotics, is on oral antibiotics, has no gym for two weeks, had to stay home from school today and we go for appt #3 later this week. Our cat has these seizure-like fits where he bites himself. She was trying to keep him from hurting himself and he chomped down on her finger.

Apparently it's better to get bitten by a dog than a cat. Cats have A LOT of bacteria in their mouths. Her bite isn't bad, but the infection is nasty. He bit her between the hand knuckle and middle knuckle on her index finger but the swelling from the infection go almost down to her wrist!
