Is my Teenie girl....wierd?
LOL!
Teenie is my almost yr old Mastiff....she needs the radio on anytime she is alone. If not... she barks and cries. I find it rather humorous especially since he prefers country to top 40 or rock~!
Gotta love her!!

i don't think she is weird. She just misses you! i have a lab mix who sucks on his blanket for hours and cries??? It is interesting how pets have their own little quirks just like people!

Nope, not weird. She gets lonely. But she really needs to select better music.

My cat will cry for me when I leave. If she hears me talking outside you can hear her crying for me.
Just sounds as if your dog misses you. Atleast you found an easy fix.

Not weird, just has separation anxiety: Separation Anxiety : The Humane Society of the United States
The radio is a good start, and if it works, great! You are getting off the hook easy compared to other owners.LDR

My sister has to leave the daytime soaps on for her dalmation or she will trash the house (talking destroying doors, kitchen appliances and such).
My mom's old cat hated being alone in the dark and would turn on the touch lamp by the bed and the radio!
