My cats have 2 food bowls on top of the blanket chest so the dog won't eat it. When they are empty all 3 cats will knock them into the floor. If the 3 water bowls are empty they turn them over. If the dog's bowl is empty he will not quit barking. They will also run to the food bags and meow and bark. lol

I do this with our pug. I am so lucky that she does not over eat. She is right now 4 years old and weighs 19 pounds. My mother in-law does not free feed her pug but over feeds it and I swear I am not lying, the thing ways almost 50 pounds. I have never seen any pug that big.
