Default Does your pet talk in their sleep?

I have started to notice that my cat will cry out when she is sleeping. I noticed this a couple of times. The last time she was under the covers and yelled out. I went to find her thinking she was stuck somewhere only to find her sleeping under the covers.

So does your pet talk in their sleep?

I had a German Shepherd who would dream A LOT. She would make noises and little barks. Her legs would also move like she was running. It was always amusing to watch and listen to her.

Our Rottie will make little barking noises and move his feet like he is chasing something. Too funny.

Our big cat will make 'talking noises'. Sometimes I swear he is going to just start talking people talk!

All 3 of my dogs do this, and I think it's so cute. Sometimes they really get going, all 4 legs just given' er, and that "in-deep-sleep" growl and bark. Sometimes when one of the is really into it, I softly say "go get 'm boy, good boy", and the tail gets a-waggin' too.

Oh yeah...all three of "my boys" run/twitch, bark, growl, snarl, even whimper and whine...all sorts of crazy things while they're asleep. Hilarious to watch.
Although sometimes I get a little worried because they seem so upset, so I gently, and I do mean gently,-when there's growling and snarling involved, wake them up.

Maxx, my German Shepherd, is a very loud "talker" when he's awake...so I guess it's just natural for him to be one while he's asleep...and boy does he snore...
Nikko, my Rottweiler, does more of the growling and barking while asleep....along with a truck load of snoring too...
Reno, my baby boy Husky/Chow mix, he does more of the whining and barking scene while he's sleeping...but oddly enough, he doesn't snore.
