Default Just got back from the vets

Poor Daisy came home with a laceration to the top of one of her rear paws (glass?) and you could see the tendon (so glad she didn't do any more damage) so we knew she'd at least need stitches. They kept her for a few hours , sedated & sewed her up. She's home now all wobbly and has to stay indoors for 10-14 days, she is so not going to like that and she's a very vocal cat so Jack & I are going to have to get some earplugs, lol. My cat who hasn't used the litterbox in over a year will have to make friends with it now. No choice.
Oh this little thing set us back $184.
Hope she finds her happy spot, doesn't need me to put the cone on her & heals quickly.

so sorry to hear it. money and injury. Our sheperd stepped on a pop can that was shredded by a lawn mower. And you'd never know it happened. I'm sure this will be a distant memory soon. Good luck keeping her in.

Thanks Libby, I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone or something. Dog still isn't himself & I just high-fived (really seconds ago) a reluctant hubby because the cat did #1 & 2 in the litterbox and I was happy, lmao. He thinks I'm nuts.
I really am in hanging limbo in a wacky universe & looking forward to "normal" . Oh, cat says MEOW. Translation, "Thanks for the kind words but let me out of this bore fest."

Thanks all, she's healing nicely but man is she wanting to go outdoors. She's stir crazy for sure & she has no qualms letting all know of her displeasure. 10-14 days, I don't know how we'll all not go bonkers but somehow we'll get through. Here's a pic of her paw.
