My new dog room, a recent project
I have wanted a dog room for quite some time and finally took the plunge to do it. This is a spare bedroom that I've given to the dogs. I am posting purely for bragging purposes. I'll just admit that now. *grin*
As a small disclaimer, NO money was spent on this project, another fact that I'm bragging about, ha! Everything was repurposed, moved, cleaned up but no money spent.
I now have two tall white cabinets to hold their stuff, the room has two high shelves and a closet for their stuff as well. Their dog food is in a locked tote in the closet and then I have a board to keep them from opening the closet door just in case.
I put their leashes and grooming supplies in fabric bags and hung them in the closet on hangers.
I have a few more photos but I uploaded them to Facebook and Facebook isn't cooperating. meh.LDR

What a GREAT idea! I'm moving in a month and the house will have a dedicated dog/pet room, too, so I appreciate your creative ideas. I have multiple dogs, as well. It's a great way to live for those that understand and appreciate "pack living."

Thanks, all! The dog room is being left open during the day while I'm home (I'm off for summer) and they are loving it. They are sleeping in their crates even though they don't have to, playing in the room together, its really cute.
I'll be rotating out pairs of dogs that get along, to the free play area of the rest of the room while I'm at work. That way everyone gets a turn through the week at the open space of the room to play in.
They have issues when they are one-big-pack when I'm not home. Basically the girls fight and the boys like to watch.

My new dog room
I'm so jealous! What a great room. It's so much easier to have the crates and pet stuff in one room. Smart thinking on locking the food away and using a board to keep the doors from opening.
And the cost?? perfect!
