    I own 2 labs and wouldn't want any other type of dog! Labs are wonderful with children and they are so smart. My dogs understand english and spanish!!

    LOVE IT!!!!! Congrats on your new furry family member. If you find like I did my newly adopted dog chews up everything. Kong makes toys that are called air "something" can't think of the word and they look like tennis balls in all different shapes and so far he hasn't destroyed them.

    Enjoy him! Getting my dog has been one of the best decisions. I never know how wonderful a dog could be.

    We adopted our black lab a few years ago, and she is celebrating her 5th birthday today Never had a lab, now, will NEVER be without one! They are perfect! Keep them exercised though - LOTS of energy! Enjoy your new friend! - Wanted to add, our vet only charges $5 for a nail clipping...might want to call around.

    Our family has always had black labs they are a great family dog. I love there facial expressions!!

    Congratulations to you and Blaze. be sure to keep him on Heartworm preventative until the temps are consistently below 50 degrees. Heartworm back protects - meaning the pill you give at the beginning of september actually protects for August. So, if you live in a warm climate, you may need to give it year round.
