Default What toys or goodies will your pets receive this holiday?

I was able to find two small stuffed animals at Dollar Tree. So I decided I would open them up and stuff them with cat nip for the cat this Christmas. Seems to have worked since I put them in a bag in the closet. When ever I open the closet the cat is nosying around the bag.

Will be fun to watch her wrestle the stuffed animal.

What are you planning for your pet(s) this holiday season?

We generally get our Pup a chew thing like a bone so she can be busy while we open presents.

As she has grown she has decided that opening presents is fun and she watches as we open them.

Her favorite present of all time was a ball ( looked like big tennis ball) she wrestled and chased it until she popped it. A few minutes of chasing fun. LOL. Now she chews on it and plays tug.

It is the toys she will bring most often to play with.

We have even caught her a few times getting it to lay down to sleep.

    Yeah it is her favorite

This year we got our little girl an assortment box of doggie Christmas cookies, a stuffed wooly ball & a set of 3 unstuffed duck animals for her.

She loves opening her presents by putting her nose in the bags and pull out what is for her. So much fun to watch her, my hubby & I just get the biggest chuckle out of it. It's also her birthday on Christmas Eve. Lucky 2 days for her!!!

For my kitties we will get them a bag of treats

    Happy Holidays!

our 4 kitties will get cat treats, a few catnip toys, and new scratcher inserts for their favorite scratching toy. The 3 outdoor dogs will all get those monster chew bones and the 2 inside dogs will get new sweaters (one is small and cold all the time, the other is elderly), some cheap stuffed animals to tear apart, and some christmas treats.

Our doggy will get a big stuffed bear....he sleeps with them every night and last years is getting pretty disgusting.

The cats will each get a bag of treats and a tin of wet cat food (the only time of the year they get it).

I'll probably start up another pot of cat grass for our five kitties, using wheat berries from the food co-op. Very cheap and easy to grow.

The two dogs will get minty chewies from Dollar Tree, which they love.

All of them already have tons of toys, so they don't really need much.

Tightening down the budget so nothing for them this year. Thankfully they wont know better. For Christmas day when I leave them I'll throw some carrots in their crates for happy chewing while I'm gone, they love carrots as "bones", will likely stuff their kongs for them as well.

So far I've gotten one of them a new sweater ($2.50 Target) and I've got them a stuffless skunk (also $2.50 at Target) to share. I'm also planning on buying them each a pig snout to chew and eat and I want to make them some of the doggie bisquets that I made them last year 'cause they were a big hit. Oh yeah, Big Lots has very cool doggie toys and I might get them one of those too. I like the ones with six squeakies in them ($5 each). My dogs love to tear those squeakies out first!

Our cat doesn't like treats and has a few toys that he makes a token attempt at playing with for our benefit every so often, so he will get even more love and hugs than he normally does, which he likes.

Our DD has a cheweenie which is the cutest thing so "grandma and grandpa" do pickup a cute little tiny size toy and a bag of inexpensive doggie treats and put them in a little gift bag for her to pull them out of, she gets so excited and it is so cute.

We have one cat, and she gets a stocking full of things -

a box of dry cat food from the dollar tree (we give it to her as snacks, she can't read)

small cans of soft cat food

    a bottle of catnip spray

I will knit a few cat toys I found on Ravelry and stuff -- to be sprayed with catnip later
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I have a $5 coupon for my dog for a pet store nearby. I do want to get him some pig or cow ears. He loves to chew them. He needs a new bone because his are getting worn. I like Biglots for pet items. I have a tiny budget for the pets so I will only get each of them a couple of things.
