    Default Pets enjoying the holidays?

Gave cat her stuffed catnip toy. A small stuffed animal from the dollar tree. Fun to watch her wrestle the large animal. That she enjoyed. Not sure if she enjoyed wearing the snuggie and blue ribbon around her neck. She didn't complain. Took the snuggie off her when she was standing there with her front feet out the neck part and she was standing there yelling at me. She did enjoy her wet cat food.

Miss Kitty, my feral three-legged cat, got a new Drinkwell fountain for Christmas. She was not impressed, but is finally using it. My pups got some gourmet cookies and a dinner of prime rib scraps and rice, so they were VERY happy! The chickens got some canned cat food, so they were also very happy.

The foster puppies (7 + mom) celebrated their first Christmas by getting to meet all sorts of new people (my family) and by tearing up wrapping tissue, so I think they were happy, as well.

I'm pretty sure Willow enjoyed Christmas. She played with all of her toys (for a while at least), got to play with visitors, slept in a new bed, and actively participated in opening her own gifts.

My kitties got 2 new toys - a mouse stuffed w/ catnip and a little "squeaker" skunk that squeaks when you tap it (soo cute!) They got wet food (which they LOOOVE). They also got to play with tissue paper, which ended up in pieces all over my living room floor, of course! But they had FUN.

My grandparents' dog seemed to have fun watching everyone open presents. She rarely sees all of us together in the living room like that, so she enjoyed having all of her favorite humans around. She'd already gotten her Christmas toys (stuffed goose with a noisemaker and something else I can't remember). She sat patiently while we "decorated" her with bows. Lol.

I think all the fur babies were over whelmed but I left all the toys on the floor and they are scattered all over the house the 2 dogs are chewing their toys and the cats are packing around their feather things. The elderly dog ate steak so she was happy..

Our dog got got a nice soft bench that he can lay on and look out the front window. He's a very small dog, and is always standing on his hind legs to try to see outside.

He doesn't get treats because his stomach is a mess. Any deviation in diet and he'll have diarrhea. He was mauled by a large dog when he was about a year old, and hasn't been able to tolerate most foods since.

Yeah, she got her toy--this year it was a stuffed Rhinocerus.

She also got soooo many goodies from people at our parties all weekend, and also things little kids dropped.

(She has had soooo much bad gas from all the junk she's eaten!)

cab54, I was glad Olivia, my foster dog, was banished to the livingroom on Christmas Eve Night, after all the bits of prime rib my mother kept slipping to her!! I suspect I would not have slept well with the little hot air balloon snuggled up next to me, letting out gas all night!

All my furbabies were tickled to death at Christmas. I caught stuffed animals half price at a local thrift store and got them half a garbage bag or so full. They each got a bag of treats in their stocking too. Our cat got wet food and a laser toy, she loved both.
