    My sassy is not feeling well at all. her mouth is very swollen and she won't let me look. but now she has at least come to be with the family. she is like my child

    I suggest you take her in tomorrow. If she is having trouble swollowing or breathing take her in now.

    She needs to see a vet sooner, rather than later. i hope you can get her in. If it's an abcess, they can be extremely painful and can lead to erosion of bone if not treated promptly.

    it was an abcess from were the other cat bit her vet gave her antibotics for 2x for 2 weeks....hugs

    oh goodness. Medicating cats is not fun, but glad to hear she'll be on the mend.

    Glad to hear they figured it out. Good luck with the meds!! When I had to give my little feral girl meds, after her surgery, I found she really liked those little Greenies pill pockets for cats.

    so glad that it is something that can be treated, although depending on the cat, I won't add the easily treated. But so glad she will be okay.

    Glad you were able to find out what was wrong. Hopefully giving her medication will not be a problem. Remember giving one cat her worm medication and she would basically look like she was foaming at the mouth.
