Daisy's drama!!
First thing the morning (even before coffee) I had to rush Daisy to the vet. I was outside taking the trash out and noticed that she was behind the garbage cans. When I called her she came out licking her lips like she was just eating something so I looked back there and there was still rat poision back there. I swear I thought I had gotten it all!!! So I called my vet and they had her come in first thing. They put some stuff in her eye that induced vomitting to get anything out of her system. I had to go and find out the name and what chemicals were in the poision while this was going on. They didn't see anything in her vomit so they think that she didn't get into it. When they brought her out she looked so pitiful!! Poor thing! When they handed her to me she wrapped her front paws around my neck and laid her head on my shoulder. I swear she thinks she is a person!!! It was pretty funny looking when she did it. She was so tired from getting sick ( I totally know how she feels after the last few days I have had). The vet gave me some Vitamin K capsules for her to take for 10 days. Even though she probably didn't get into anything we didn't want to take any chances - it was better to be safe than sorry with this. I still need to keep an eye on her and he told me what symptoms to look for just in case. It freaked me out this morning!!! What a wake up call!!

I'm so glad you were able to get her there so quickly, even though she was probably just eating garbage. Better safe than sorry. Hope you and Daisy are feeling better soon. Give her a hug for me.
