Cat positions..lol

Festus likes to lie under my chair while I'm on the computer, I just happened to look down a few minutes ago and he-s on his back with all his legs spread except for one which he has over his eyes..lol..I guess the light must have been keeping him awake.

I wish I could just fall asleep anywhich way, anywhere I wanted too.

My kitties do this ALL the time! My Pepe lays on his back with all four paws spread, but he twists his torso in the opposite direction from his bottom! Looks uncomfortable, but then I think, what a way to crack your back!!! LOL

My cat is "surfing"with me right now. He enjoys it when I'm on the computer..........right now he is actually "napping" on the computer desk so I have very close company!

my cat lays on the monitor or on the scanner...id like to find a warm out of the way place to cuddle up where no one would think to look for me like she does.....she curls up into a tight ball with her front paws covering her nose usually. my male still wont come from the bathroom, but if i go in real quiet he his usually sleeping under the sink on his belly on his towel legs all over the place with his chin flat against the bottom of the cabnit.......

You can see from my picture, that Scraps loves to sleep on her back! She is the first cat that I've had that would sleep like that. She's funny in that she chooses different places to sleep sort of like in cycles. For a couple of weeks, she'll sleep on our bed. Then all of a sudden, she's sleeping on a wing backed chair. Her new place is at the top of the steps between the railing and the cedar chest. She's been there for about 3 days, after a week or so, she'll move on to another place. My other cats have their favorite places and always sleep in one of them.

Pam, I am going to have to take a picture of our Socks. He looks just like your cat. Dakota saw it and said "hey, that's Socks." LOL! He sleeps anywhere. Mainly on our head while we are alseep. He thinks he needs a pillow too. Right now he is sleeping on my bed.

My cat Emmy used to sleep on my pillow above my head....I miss her. She would sit up on her hind legs (on the pillow)and hook her front paws on the headboard of the bed and look out the window for HOURS! We always knew where Emmy was, looking like a black squirrel sitting up on the pillow...

Pam, my cats do the phase thing too, usually about every 3 weeks they change spots and nothing you can do will make them give up a spot until they are done with it. And it was a fight when Voo decided she was going to sleep on top of thee refrigerator let me tell you!

My baby Oreo looks just like your kitty, scrappycat. That is one of his favorite positions. He and Cuddles also love to sleep on my bed all day long, they come and check on me when I'm making it, and when I'm done they race in and off to sleep they go.
