    Default Birdseed Biscuits

    (For birds, not people! LOL)

    2 cups biscuit baking mix
    1/2 cup cold water
    2 tbsp margarine
    2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp sunflower seeds (regular birdseed may be used)

Preheat oven to 425F. Form a soft dough with baking mix & water.
Roll out the dough to 3/4" thickness & cut it into shapes with
cookie cutters. (doughnut shapes or rounds are best) Using a
straw, punch a hole in the top of each cookie. Melt the margarine
& brush over dough. Sprinkle the seeds & nuts onto the dough and press it in FIRMLY with a fork. Bake for 15-20 min., or until
light brown. When cool, thread brightly colored ribbon through the
hole & hang in a tree.

(You may find that you can use more seeds, and even do them on
    both sides of the biscuits)

I just made a batch of these and hung them out on our trees. I'll let you know how the birdies like them. I have 3 Blue Jays and 2 Chickadees hanging around today, finally! The Jays have been chowing down on the bread I threw on the ground last night, so I thought they may like these.

I used all birdseed and did both sides of the biscuits. I just did round ones and hung them with ribbon. They smelled so good baking... good enough to eat!

NOTE: Make sure if you make them that you press the seed in real good... alot of mine fell off when I picked them up.
