I used to use dollar store baby shampoo. I also used this on one of my kitties who needed constant cleaning. I did ask my vet first and he said if it is gentle enough for babies it was ok to use.

Now if you need one for fleas etc... I'm not sure?

WalMart carries a good value. It's Ol' Roy dog shampoo and a large bottle costs $1.97. I use it on my dog once a week and her coat and skin are wonderful! I am extremely picky about what goes on my dog so wouldn't use it just because it is inexpensive.
