Arrow Were having kittens - mmmmm

The cat we rescued from the dump is having kittens. When we got her, we were told she was fixed!!! Well, she wasn't. She was pregnant when she came, so were now having kittens. Two so far......UGh!!! Not what we wanted, but will take them for now and see how she does.

    I'll update later.

AWWW... Our kittens are 1 1/2 weeks old and we are adoring them. They just opened their eyes and are the cutest things. Luckily my husband is a real softie and said we could keep the 2 surviving kittens after the other 2 had died and our hearts had been broken. Let us know how many your kitty had and enjoy those precious kittens!!!

This is worse than babies. She now has 3 kittens.

Debbie, tell me what happens if they don't cut the umbiblical cord right away. Does the mom do it or does it fall off by itself. It looks gross but its the cutest kitten so far and I sure don't want it to die. HELP!!!!

Be sure and give us a final count and let us know how they are doing. I'm sure once they are old enough you will have no problem finding homes for them

We've now got 4 - oh my!! Mommy is doing well, I'm not!!!!

I'm so afraid she is going to lay on the babies or hurt them. Our farmer friend is here and keeps telling me she is doing fine, just leave her. But everytime she moves, my heart along with dd's stops I think. Dd is thrilled.

The umbilical cord will dry up and fall off on it's own. Enjoy those kitties!!!!

She had 5 kittens, but lost 2, the little runt and a deformed one.

The 3 that are left are black with a white color, white with black spots and a calico one (which I've always wanted). I think they grew overnight. Dd is thrilled but sad that we lost 2. Its tough explaining how nature takes its course.

Mommy is doing well and I'm hoping her kittens are exactly like it. It will be hard keeping ONLY one of the bunch!!!
