    Talking Cold feet..lol

A few days ago we had an ice/sleet storm. The mail lady had came to the door because I had a package. She had surgery for breast cancer a few months ago and has been a family friend for years.

Anyway, while we are standing there talking wth the door open, Festus decided to escpe. Now my cats NEVER go outside. He has got out a few times and I had to go chase him down. Well I was in my pj's so she was going to go get him for me. About the time she stepped off the porch he looked at his feet, up at the sky and jumped back on the porch an straight in the door...lol.

If you could have seen the look on his face! He spent an hour drying himself off.

LOL...I can imagine what he looked like. Guess he won't try to "escape" anytime soon.

The puppies had to go in the snow for the first time the other day. It was quite comical to see their reactions to, " This stuff below our paws." We went out and they didn't know what to make of it. So they just did their bussines and ran back in. LOL

Angie, my Bubbie has escaped a couple of times too, but only once in the snow. It didn't last long!

We have 2 cats that love the snow and go racing around it it and try to catch snowflakes, one that absolutly hates it and we still don't knwo about the kittens. One is curious about it and the other one avoids even being by the front door when it's cold.

LOL... Roscoe, our dog hates to go out when it is raining, he will hold it all day to keep from going outside and when it snows he is really in trouble, because he is so little he usually sinks..

I had to drag Gypsy out the other day. "Mom, my feet are getting weeet!" (whine) was the look I got. So much for my big, tough Bull breed! LOL
