Question Do your pets "talk" to you?

I have 5 cats and they all seem to "talk" to me. I can tell by the sounds they make what they want. Strange....... All 5 have very distinctive voices and we can tell who is "calling" us from any room in the house.

only when they want to go outside. In the morning my one dog is constantly whining and chattering. Telling me to get up and let them out. Some days I could kill her. It is getting earlier and earlier every week.

Yes. They do. Speck usally starts at 6:30 in the morning. She runs in the bed room and starts meowing in our face.

Rocky doensn't meow unless she hasn't seen us in awhile.

My big ole black cat Elvis talks to me all the time. I can usually tell what he is wanting by the way he talks to me. It is usually "Feed me, can't you see I am wasting away here" . He is fat as a butterball, LOL.

My son and and daughter-in-law have four cats, they tell us that they make lots of different noises!
We were at their house once when two of the cats were watching a bird through the window, the noises they were making were so comical!

    Carolyn!

Yep, everyone of mine talk! Like Angie's Festus, some more than others. They all have thier own sounds and I can tell them all apart even when we are in different rooms. I almost always know what they want by how what sound they are making. Jack can't tell any of them apart nor understand what they want!

They all make that *cackling* sound when they are watching birds out the window. Nicky *talks* to the outside kitties ALL day long. Bubbie's nickname is 'b**chy woman' she talks the most, sounds like a duck, and she is usually complaining about something! lol Sqeaks hollers for treats all the time (Jack and her have arguments everyday over this!) Ralphie and Ollie only talk to me when they want thier bellies rubbed. Olga talks to me when I'm cooking. Snowy only when I play with him and rub his belly, he doesn't like it! Pepe talks when he wants my attention and pets. Sidney (along with Bubbie) is my constant companion, he hollers at me when I don't do what he wants.

But the all time BIG mouth is Miss Prissy!! She is one of the smallest in size of my kitties and she has a set of lungs on her that could wake the dead! She will scream at you to turn on the faucet for a drink and to open the door when she wants to go out on the porch!! Very demanding little girl!

The oldest dog does. It's impossible for me to describe it, but it's hilarious. She usually only does it in the mornings.

All of the fuzzies here talk to me. My dog will talk, but she also used body language to tell me what she wants. The cats talk to me, but also to each other and the cats outside. The Guniea pigs chatter to each other and to us if we are bringing them food.

I've taught all of my Alaskan Malamutes to talk to me.  They've been taught to say "Hello", Wa-wa for "I want water" and "I love you".  They also do their own talking all the time.  Malamutes don't bark, they have a "wooo-woo" noise that they make.

    Oh yes!
My darling little Whippet [who sadly passed away last July] talked to me all the time. He would tell me when he wanted to be snuggled in his blanket, and tell me if he thought his dinner was the least bit late!

Yes My Animals talk to me.
I have 3 Cats and One Dog.
My Dog seems to talk the most though.
She likes to fuss at me and I fuss back at her when she doesn't do what she is told to do.

All 4 of my cats talk to me, I can tell what they want, and I know who is "talking" when they aren't in the same room as me. My dog also talks and lets me know what he wants too! And, at 5:00 the cats start talking and circling around me because its feeding time. Right now, they are all going crazy because I'm 25 minutes late with their dinner--like they're going to starve!!

The dog only barks if she sees one of us. I guess that is her way of saying feed me.

The cat always talks to us. He is really smart. I love to watch his interactions with everyone. When he is ready to go outside, he will go sit by the door until one of us comes along and opens it.
