online heartworm meds

I was wondering if anyone has ordered heartworm or flea meds online. I have seen sites that offer them much cheaper than the vets. Cost me over $100. last year just for the meds. We had just got our greyhound and she came tested. So this year I am trying to save some. Do any of you that keep track of your grocery totals include your animal's food? cau

My totals include all five animal's food, but NOT meds, vet visits, etc. Because of a very expensive surgery last year, my vet bills were almost as much as my food bills!

I buy Heartgard (yes, that's really how it's spelled!) and flea treatments locally. It was cheaper than paying for the meds and s/h!

Thanks, I know those vet bills can get really high. My girl had a kidney infection and special food was needed on top of the meds. Thank heaven she is fine now.
