Indoor cats can live for 20 years and more. My cats are 10 and 7. I had a friend who had a cat who just passed at the age of 21,he was an indoor cat his entire life.

Outdoor cats of course have a shorter life span due to the dangers of the outdoor life and cats that come in and out fall in between.

Siamese can live as long as 15 to 20 years! We had one that lived to be 15. I now have two siamese that are just babes, 3 years old! We have an outside kitty (a mutt) who is turning 11 this year and still going strong, but she has used up several of her nine lives, lol.

Don't ya just love siamese? They have such wonderful personalities!

Gracie is 15 and still going strong! She has some health problems, but with a strict diet and some medicines, the vet says she has many more years ahead of her.

The youngest a cat of mine has died was ten. The oldest had past his fifteenth birthday, so I would agree--your baby will be with you for a long time!

My cat friend, Timmy O'Brian lived to be 32. He died a little over a year ago now. He began as my barn cat and after a vicious neighbor shot his leg off, he became an indoor cat. He was my best buddy!

My cat Gomez Adams is 11 years old now. He's my last cat. I'm afraid of them out-living me!
