When I was younger my two hamsters used to "get together" all the time. Quite a crash course in sex I tell ya!
I used to take the babies to the pet store when they were old enough. Check around. Not sure but I think they even paid me. Though I'm sure my mom was just glad to get rid of them!

When they got old enough to leave mommy and started crawling around, we would take the top off a wheat germ jar and mix a mush of wheat germ and maybe milk?? It was good weaning food!

    Congratulations!!
We had the same situation happen here with gerbils!
    2 kids =2 gerbils
    2 gerbils= ALOT!!!
Dh wasn't too keen with the idea of having Tom and Jerry let alone all the baby gerbils. RATS-as he called them
My boys tried to pawn them off to every kid in the neighborhood LOL My youngest even tried to "trade" them for pokemon cards!
Thank goodness the novelty wore off and they all ended up at the pet store.
