Why do I have this feeling we may end up with another dog????

Chris is taking care of the sweetest English Bulldog named Milton. Milton's owner is in the National Guard and is busy with some training for about 2 weeks. Milton came up for a visit today and I have to admit that I fell in love with this sweet dog. There is the possibility that Milton's owner may have to go overseas and Chris is already begging me to let him offer to keep Milton with us if she is called up. The only problem that I can see is that Milton is an indoor dog most of the time and with my 4 indoor cats, I'm not so sure that will go over well. Our outdoor cat is curious about him, but keeping his distance. Milton has been known to chase cats in his own yard, but seemed fine with ours here. I'm going to have to talk this one over with DH because I'm not sure what his feelings are going to be if Milton needs to find a temporary home for about a year.

Awww....what a sad story! And what that is playing out all over the US. If I were closer I would volunteer to help you out but MI is a distance from WA. At least it would hopefully be only for a year. I'm sure its just as tough for this solider to leave behind their beloved pet. Hopefully it will all work out soon!
