chipmunk in the house
I left the door open and a chipmunk got inside.
I was screaming and I'm not sure why. rofl
They really are cute and for some reason I kept thinking it was going to jump up and scratch my eyes out or attack me like some bear. lol
He's out now. We have birdseed on the porch and leave him some everyday. A bunch of them live under our porch.
Zachary wouldn't even come out of his room. I yelled CHIPMUNK and he slammed his door shut fast. lolIf you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. They are cute. But not so cute when they are inside our houses. LOL, My mom had one get in last time i visited her. In fact it had gotten in the house just shortly before she and brother came to the airport to pick us up. The thing is, she has 2 cats. and not either of those two fat fur balls even gave it any attention. She caught it over night in a release cage.

We haven't seen a chipmunk here since we moved, but we do have lots of squirrels.
Glad he got out okay.

How exciting! It makes me think of the other night when a bird flew in my car. (a chickadee) There is a bird living in one of the paper tubes and she always flys out when I put the paper in there. Monday night she flew in the car! I tried to chase her out with a flyer. She wanted to go oout the only window that doesn't roll down! So there I am, in the middle of nowhere, with all my car doors open waiting for her to find her way out!
