Default A really nice thing happened today!!

I was trying to get our dogs placed in a new home through this animal rescue agency because the dogs were aggressive - they have been killing my chicks and ducks and one, Bear , tried to kill one of the kittens (norton) and Bernie (my ooollldd ferret). (no one messes with momma's kittees and fweezils!! They are Akita Heeler mix and came from a ranch and the lady swore to me they were great with livestock - I wondered why they were kennelled- dumb-dumb  anyway she said that was just so they wouldn't jump up on me when I was there to look at the pups!! But Sammee & Emilee the sheep really love these two dorkee dogs!! anyway - yesterday I told this lady that I would just keep them and try to work more with them - that the cats would all become indoor cats and the chicken and duck pens were now pretty secure. As A thankyou she has offered to spay/neuter both pups!!! Isn't that the nicest thing!! I accepted - even though I feel a little guilty because she is a charity - she assured me that its a tax write off for the vet and to please accept!! It was going to be $110 each dog!! I am thrilled cuz we were budgeting for it - but there is always so much to budget for!! Bruce said that we would give her agency a donation as thanks - so that is nice too!

That was nice of her to offer to do that, and of Bruce to give them a donation.

That's great! Good luck working with the dogs, I hope they become less agressive soon.
