    Smile Major Gypsy Brag!

I have a MAJOR brag here for my girl!

Last month, we were invited to take part in a family appreciation evening at the local elemnentary school my DSs used to attend. The after school class coordinator has me give Dog Safety classes on a regular basis. I even ocasionally get PAID to do it!

Any way, the event took place yesterday afternoon. We did a "meet and greet" and handed out articles on responsible pet ownership and BSL and I showed all of the kids the fake doggy doo I have to remind them to pick up after their dogs. I also took Gypsy's stacks of show ribbons, collars, dog books, treats, toys, etc. Gypsy licked the face, ears or hands of TWO HUNDRED kids! We were there for FOUR HOURS and she was just as enthusiastic with the first child as she was with the last!

I took the library stool I own (as a library staffer I NEED one of these at home--I am also SHORT). and Gypsy sat on it and begged for treats from the kids. She was the perfect super star. Every fan was greeted and everyone was made ot feel special!

I was totally wiped out after the four hours and she was tired, but she was STILL ready to greet more kids. What a girl--my dog is the PERFECT canine ambassador.

I always want the BSL people to see her in action. "Killer assault dog", my fanny!
