Dee - did Baby ever get a name ??

Did you ever figure out if baby was a girl or not - She is soooo cute and looks so much like my Trixee I just want to scoop her up so badly and kiss her little white smoosh!!!

Yes Kimmee, you can scoop HIM up and call him Peanut while you are doing it!

Jack named him, he hasn't named many of our kids so I let it slide. It is definitely better than Potsie, which was his first choice!

(Yes to go with Fonzerelli, the only other kitty he has named!)

Little Peanut has had a rough first few months of life. He got a bad eye infection that caused him to loose his site and was still bad enough that although he was only 2½ pounds we had to take the chance and have the vet remove the eye. At the same time he neutered him. Took him back the other day to have the stitches removed and they said it was filled with infection, so he had to have another surgery to put 2 holes in the bottom portion of his eye area so it could drain out. He is now on 2 very strong antibiotics and I have to clean it several times a day.

Funny thing is, you would never know anything is wrong with the little fellow. Right now he is beating the daylights out of Hoss and running around like a loon!

But when he is tired, he just climbs up into one of our laps, starts purring and is out like a light.

AHH- after I posted I saw peanut written there but I couldn't remember if that was there and thats what you were calling the baby til you knew. He is a fine looking little dude - I am sorry he has had such a bum start - I had a little boy, Chaz, who poked his eye out on a Pyracantha needle (those damn things are everywhere in Phx) and I had to treat him for infection for three months but he was just fine - an itty bitty one eyed terror and he lived a very full life!! Love you Peanuttee!!
