come on fess up - do you play ruff ??
I am dying to share some of my fun meaner antics with my kitties - but I am scared that you all will think I am an abuser since you didn't understand that I was just playing when we duct taped damon to the pole - well Mel did!!
anyway - I would never hurt anything in my whole life!! But it is sometimes fun to get even with the very little people who shoot out from under chairs in the dark and "gut" your ankle or jump dpwn from high cabinets onto your head and bite you - I think they enjoy it and sometimes expect it - like Kato from the Pink Panther movies.
Well - this moment was irresistable!! I have been working inside and outside all day and the downstairs doors have been open and its been pretty brisk - as it got darker out I suddenly had no cat buddies. I just came up to my room to warm up and play on the puter and here are seven of them curled up together on the far side of the waterbed enjoying the last bit of sun and licking each other and purrin. Noone invited me. they ditched me for crying out loud!! so I did what any loving mom would do - I jumped up and did a cannonball on my side of the bed and blasted them all off the other side!! there were tails and furr and tongues everywhere!! and I feel better!!

That is tooooo funny!!! Good one.
I've been known to put a sock over my kittens head and then watch as he tries to back out of it....... or put masking tape on his paws or tail....
He seems to still like me......

Kimmee you are so bad!
I have been known to put bows (the self sticky kind) on my cats heads. This is one of thier favorite toys, $1 for a bag of 45 bows! Anyway some of them it doesn't bother at all, they just lay there and look at me and others are quite comical trying to get it off.
I also rough house with my cats sorta like you would with a dog. They still love me, they come back for more.

The duct tape episode must of happened before I found the village.........I'm gonna try to find that post...........how funny

So none of you have ever rubberbanded pizza to your cats back - or hung feathers from pipecleaners over their heads?? You ought to see a weezil with a sock over his head - he gets a;; puffy and starts doing the hoppy dance and saying boogahboogah - then he takes the sock of at kneads it til it is dead!! I soooo love animals - they are the best. As I type I have my doof Raymond staring at the printer waiting for a piece of paper to come out so he can gut it!! And of course Norton is on my shoulder getting ready to lung at Kenny who is hiding in my clean aundry pile. What a nut house!!

About the tape. Be careful. Mike did this to a cat we had when we lived in Omaha, it was funny to watch it fling it's paws. One night it ate the tape! we ended up at the vet, after hours. It passed through the night. To the tune of $75 and that was about 20 years ago. Only vet approved toys now!

No kitties at Chez Bessie, but 2 big dopey labs..The Girls.
Peanut butter is a great amusing snack..watching them gnaw at it and then having it "stick" is too much fun!
Dh's now deceased dog, No, No, Bad Dog used to steal stuff from the counter or trash....funniest item EVER stolen had to have been the prickly pineapple top
Oh! NNBD would also steal dry good from pantry...pudding mixes, dates, etc. Doofus.
