Talking We're about to have baby fish!

I've had aquariums almost as long as I can remember, but this is the first time in many years that I've had pregnant fish.  We restarted this tank at the end of January with calm, community fish instead of the more aggressive African fish that I've usually had.  This time we went with Mollies, Zebra Danos, etc.  Well, slightly more than a month later, we've got one Molly ready to pop (I think!)  and one other one that looks like she might be pregnant, too.  From what I've been reading, Mollies can have babies once a month-- can you imagine?!

I got the fry (baby fish) trap this morning and put the momma in there.  I don't have any idea when these babies are coming, but, since the poor momma fish can't swim right anymore it's got to be soon.

If anyone else happen to find themselves needing advice on this, here's a good site I found:  http://www.aquariumfish.net/informat..._fish.htm#top2

    Stay tuned....

i tell you! We had guppies for ds. we started with four....ended up with hundreds. LOL. ours were "fancy tail" guppies and very pretty to look at, but my goodness those things could populate!

we had native guppies too and they produced lots of babies. They even ate some of them, ack! I hope your mum produces healthy fry. How exciting!

We used to have aquariums too and I loved it when we had babies. Enjoy!
