Uh-oh...I'm in pug love...

I've sooo fallen in love with this breed. Everywhere I go I see them so it just feeds my hunger. I was talking to an older guy while we were camping last weekend and they are just so darn cute and friendly too.
Now the last thing we need is another furbaby around the house but a girl can dream can't she??

They are adorable, sweet dogs....they love kids, and they are just so fun! We had a pug puppy a couple years ago and oohhhhhhh how we loved him--unfortunately, when we moved here, someone stole him from our side yard

We still miss him

DH put up a 6-ft privacy fence just for our mini dachshund...not much chance of someone reaching over that!

We have two pug babies. I love them, but they are soooo expensive!! I would never give them up though

I'm afraid of people stealing them too. I've heard of people break into houses and just stealing the pugs!!

They are a great breed. There's a good community over at www.pugvillage.com that has a lot of pug owners very willing to answer any questions. I think there's even a "Is a Pug Right for Me?" test that you can take to let you know some of the drawbacks and considerations of the breed. One in particular is that they can be very hard to housetrain. We had one, though, who was absolutely great -- had to give him up because of allergies.

I love pugs, they are so adorable. I want one, but DH is anti-pug, more the "big lug" dog kind of guy. He says, "If you wanted a little dog, get a cat."

Ah well. One day he'll have an office and I'll have a pug.

see...I'm not the only one with the sickness then. I found the pugvillage link while I was cruising www.petfinder.com I REALLY need to ban myself from them. HERE's the lil girl I found..... isn't she the sweetest thing!
