Default went to the pet store today

to see if they needed kittens, ours are almost ready to go find new homes. they told me the wouldn't take them because 3 are black, and this time of year they don't take black kittens.
i asked why, not thinking that halooween is coming up, nd they said that black cat sacrifices are to many. well now my kittens will stay with us unless i know the parents to be, there is no way i will be getting rid of nay of htem. dh is haveing a fit but i don't care. i have a cousin who lives on a farm that wanted them for barn cats, but they are so social i cna't see doing that either, besides, she took a friends kittens(10) and only 3 are left , something got in the barn and got to them.

You know I heard this a few years back and almost couldn't believe it. There really are people that sacrifice cats?? And black is a preference! What planet are they from -- I'm certain to keep my black cat indoors for sure.
