Default In the next couple of days

I hope I am not jinxing this!! In the next few days we are adopting another cockatiel, a female about 1-2 years old. She belonged to (I could be wrong) a college student who realised he couldn't take her to college with him, so he gave her away (let's use a better term: re-homed ). The new owner is finding it difficult to keep up with her demands, although they really do love her and want the best for her. Our cockatiel has been needing a buddy after his parakeet quite literally flew the coop awhile back. So we have come up with this match. Arc loves other birds and enjoys chattering away with them, this girl is one who loves other birds as well, and has been handled. She's very tame and loves to be rubbed and scratched. A match made in birdie heaven! The only thing we have right now to do is the face to face...or rather beak to beak meeting (cages in between of course for safety! Just in case) And as long as that goes well...

I know Arc will love the girlie. You guys enjoy them. Their chatter is always a pleasant sound to me.

    Re-homing...I love it!
Sounds to me like it could be just the wish that both birds need right now!
