my mare!
either has some terrible gas movements, or she is pg! today i had her out grazing, and was wathcing her and all of a sudden her sides started moving, i jumped up to touch her and it moved under my hand! i am scrared and excited at the same time, she is still 100 pounds under weight, but what a joy a baby would be as long as there was no harm to her! i wen tto clean her teats and she squirted milk up my arm! tomorrow she is going on mare and foal food to see if that will help her gain any weight!

That's great news. I LOVE horses. You must be so excited. Will the mother and foal food fatten her up a bit? She's had such a tought time, she deserves a baby. I just hope it doesn't put too much strain on her.

yes i think the mare and foal will fatten her up. i also hope it is not to much stress, the good thing is she is experinced , she had had 3 babies, when she went to the other place and they bred her every year for 7 years!

My guess is that if she is still pregnant after all she has been through, you really are doing a fabulous job of caring for her. (We already knew that- this is just more proof.) Way to go!
