Do you mean off the sofa and such?
I have used a synthetic sponge, barely damp and drag it across the "grain" of the fabric.
Also Rubber gloves that you would wear for washing up the dishes are good, dampen lightly and rub firmly across sofa, the hair sticks nicely to the glove, which I then rinse off over the toilet
These are a pair of OLD gloves that I keep for just that purpose, although I have rubbed my damp rubber gloves over Suzy to prevent her shedding if it's obvious she is loosing hair.
Sticky tape is good but doesn't work as well as the above IMO.

I always found that mine seemed to shed seasonally. Believe it or not, they seemed to do it twice a year, and fall was a smaller one than the spring one. Like changing the wardrobe I suppose.
With my border collie girl a good bath helped to loosen off the stuff that was falling out and get rid of more of it all at once. She didn't like it, but she looked and smelled great after, and a couple of good brushings the day after got her thru the big shedding seasons.
With my Samoyed, he was better off not bathing, so I would really brush him out well a few times using a special brush that loosened the shedding undercoat. (I got rid of trash bags FULL of hair, enough for making 5 other dogs at least).
Bless them both, they put up with that, and always looked the better for it.

A good lint brush works just as well. Also when vacuming your stairs or furniture try using the floor brush stopping to pull the hair off the brush as you go.

Thanks for the ideas, ladies. My Corgi sheds like crazy all the time and I need to find someway to clean up after her. She adds greatly to my dust bunny population!
