Smile In my front yard this morning, I saw...

...a group of 8 turkeys! They were all female...just bee-bopping around pecking in the yard in the rain. I have seen 2 at the most around here, so I was very surprised to see so many. They hung out for a while and then headed back off into the woods. I figure they banded together after escaping the yearly turkey hunt for Thanksgiving - yay girls! I was going to take a photo, but couldn't find my camera. Anyway, I thought it was neat so I wanted to share.

    Have a great day!

My grandmother gets them in her yard too, she loves it hearing them and watching them. I think it's so neat~

Thanks for sharing! Do you feed them? or provide water? You may see them more frequently if you do....

WOW! I bet that was quite a site to see. We never get them here...not even one in our yard, so that would have been awesome.
