Question Do you plan on adding any pets in your life in 2006?

I'm thinking we will probably add another dog, possibly another cat. I almost looked at a toy poodle today, however decided to wait until spring.

Nope. NO way. For 2 years, I had to take care of 3 days. I lived in an apartment connected to a large house. One of the jobs I had was taking care of the dogs, and they were old and high maintenance. So, nope. I love dogs, but I don't want the expense nor the responsibility right now.

I wish we could have pets. We rent our home, and no pets allowed. Me and my dh are both animal lovers and missing not being able to take in all the strays!

Not right now. There are five pets here, so that's it for the moment.

One of the joys (said with tongue in cheek) of living in the country is people are always willing to share their puppies and kittens with us. We nurse them to health and try to find homes for them. If one were to catch our hearts, well then I guess we would just have to keep it.

    Probably not.
We just got a new kitten in November. Before that a new puppy in March. Now we have two dogs & two cats. We've discussed getting another dog & another cat, but not for a few years.

yup. On Wednesday we will be adopting a beagle pup. And later in the year the plan is to adopt a german shepard. Probably in sept-oct-nov time.

I imagine our birdie flock will probably increase as well!
