Question Is your cat an outside cat?

No, Sassie has never been outside, other than to the vet's to get fixed. She doesn't even try to go outside.

Both! He orders us around just like garfield! Except he prefers mice to lasagna.

Misty is our outside cat. Tobey is our indoor cat...he got out once during the remodeling of our home. I thought we had lost him forever, but a few days later, my neighbor said he found Tobey under his shed...he was terrified & hungry! Now, Tobey is content with just looking out from the inside

We have a stray cat that adopted us 5 or so years ago and she is an outside cat. Any time I open the back door she runs in but only stays near the door and usually runs out just as quickly as she runs in!

No, my cats are strictly indoor cats.

Cats that live indoors tend to have a much longer life span then those who stay outdoors or do a little of both.

My cats are indoor cats. I had one ripped in half years ago and decided that they would never, EVER be at the mercy of loose dogs again. Indoor cats live waaay longer and are healthier overall.

Nope, though he tries to get out often.

No way, once my kids come in, they are in for good! I have had a couple escape a time or two, but never for long. I could usually see them under the porch etc.... and I would sit and wait for them to come out so no harm would come to them.

Our cat goes both in & out. Mostly stays in in the winter and out in the summer.

Ditto. My babies stay INside. That's not to say the older one hasn't tried to get out. Twice he has gotten out. Little Houdini he is

Yes, he was already an outside cat when he became a member of our family.

    Both mine are indoor too.

We have coyote around here and fishers too. Not risking my babies becoming lunch or dinner in the woods!

Starz is mostly an indoor cat. She sneaks outside from time to time. BUT if she keeps acting the way she is this morning she may be an outdoor cat permanently. She has been running around the house non-stop, jumping on everything, and knocking items off.
