If you were to choose a dog, what type would it be?
I love most dogs. As much as I like small dogs, I would have to say I prefer a medium size dog. And I think if I had only one choice it would be an English Springer Spaniel. I absolutely love those dogs.

A standard poodle! I have had a cocker, beagle and Dh had a retriever mix......But Ali is the absolutely best dog ever!
She is smart, friendly, protective and doesn't shed!
OK, OK, I like my dog.

I want a chocolate lab! I love them. Hubby says we can't have one until after we fence the yard. I'm not fencing the yard until I can pay cash. With our debt load I may need a seeing eye dog by then.

We have 2 German Shepherds, and we love them. They're the only dogs I will have. They are so sweet, and loveable, loyal, and very protective. Our female will watch the kids around here, and if they get anywhere near somewhere they aren't supposed to be she lets us know, and will bark at the kids till they get back.

I have an American Staffordshire terrier. I won't own another breed until I can't handle the strength of these dogs. I love Pugs, French Bulldogs, and Staffordshire Bull terriers (yes, they ARE a different breed), os will probably have one of those when I am a little old lady!

We have two Doberman Pinchers now. I love the breed. They are loyal and protective of their pack. I love how powerful they look. They are a couple of big babies. Ours prefer the couch to anyplace in the house. Sadly they are a mis understood breed.
I do however miss my westie terribly.

I am a mutt fan, LOL Peachie was a terrier/husky mix and just a sweetie pie, I still miss her.
If we ever got another dog, I would want a lap size dog and a mutt is just fine by me.

I would like our next dog to be 50 lbs or less, short haired, female, older than a piddle puppy, with fur that is only one color,And I want her to show up in the summer time... is that asking toooooooo much?
Our dogs, usually pick us. The last one, showed up, the day after Christmas about 4 years ago. HE was, about 6 weeks,(he fit in my hand) astralian sheperd, and is now about 95 lbs, He's black and white with hair about 4 inches long...
