We went yesterday to get our pups!
And it went well. The trip there took about an hour. The kids...dd and ds2 did well on the trip. On the way back I had ... in my excitement...forgotten the travel kennel, so they had to ride kind of "as is" in the van. Definitely not my first choice. They did very well though. They went under the seat, curled up and slept the whole way home.
Hunter is easily twice the size of Hudson...or more. When he feels threatened he hides under Hunter. And when Hunter sees a perceived threat he scooches Hudson under him. All that Emma, the Beagle saw for the first 20 minutes or so was a funny looking 2 headed brown and white fluffball. Till they decided she wasn't so scary after all and Hudson came on out from under his brother. The three proceeded to run back and fourth from one end of the house to the other.
MIL and FIL stopped by and Emma wouldnt let them near her new buddies...who again were in the perceived threat Hudson under Hunter stance. It took a minute before Emma decided to share her new friends.
They won DH's heart the second he laid eyes on them.
They woke up about every second hour last night. Not too bad really. Not all that different from when Emma first came. They have sucsessfully urinated and deficated outside...but not exclusively, it'll come with time and stronger bladders etc.
So, all's well. Later today I will post some pics.~~ Missy ~~

First is them both...you can't see the size difference much from this view. At least it doesn't show how very different their sizes are.
Next is Hudson. You can compare his height to the Knifty Knitter there if you have one...otherwise, he's about a foot tall give or take.
And lastly, Hunter. Busily chewing on my couch quilt.~~ Missy ~~
