What do you feed your pets?

I have a friend who doesn't buy dog food for her dogs but feeds them a real food diet. I can't remember what she actually feeds them though. I know she sees a holistic vet and whatever they're doing, the dogs are much healthier.

I think to do this right would take a lot of research and work! I usually give a mix of Iams with the cheaper stuff to stretch it.
