Default My Suzie Is In Heaven

Well our lab took a turn for the worst. I brought her back to the hospital on Monday to have another test taken. They wanted to do an ultrasound to see if the object was still lodged. We waited for what seemed like hours for the results, the dr came in and said it revealed that she has 2 obstructions not 1. Well hubby and I just about lost it, our options were to operate or to put her down. We took her outside for a walk and to spend some time with her. It is a horrible feeling to have to make a decision whether or not to put her down. We opted for the surgery, after all she is a family member and we wanted to do anything that we possibly could for her. Well the dr called Monday night at 10:00 pm to tell us that they found a tumor the size of his fist in her abdomen which he said was cancer. He told us it was her time, I asked if we could come to say goodbye and he agreed. He let us in the operating room to talk to her for a few minutes and then we were there when he gave her the shot to send her to heaven.

This was the hardest thing me and dh ever had to do. We will miss her terribly.

So sorry for your loss. At least you know that she is in a better place. That was what got me through the loss of our dog Madison.
