That is such a cute pic - protector or are they thinking 'delightful afternoon snack?'

My friends dog gaurded her other pet, a cat...they were like best buds, dont pick on one cuz the other will come to the rescue! Well the cat had kittens - the dog didnt know what to do cuz she multiplied with mini versions of her lol and literally would take them in its mouth (looking like it was going to eat it) and drooool so bad b/c it didnt want to squish the kitten in its mouth, and just hide the kittens on the poor cat. How mean is that?!

Thats what that pic reminds me of! Still too cute nonetheless!

When I was a kid our friends had a bird dog (Lab/German Shorthair mix). He was a hunting dog through and through. Well, they also had chickens. Mig would carry the chicks around in his mouth. The babies were always covered with spit but never hurt. Poor mamas ran around hunting for their babies while Mig looked guilty and happy at the same time, slinking around with a "swollen" mouth! That picture is so cute. Our dog carries our cat around in his mouth when he can get away with it. They are best friends and our cat sleeps with the dog and sometimes sleeps on the dog's back. The dog just loves him. They grew up together and really get along good.
