    Default Puppy Park

We have recently started taking my dog to a puppy park. What a great place. My dog was very timid the first time and I was feeling bad that I took him because he clearly hated it at first. He was scared because all the dogs rush the new comer and he had never had any experience with other dogs. He came around and now he loves it. We have taken him about 5 times and plan to take him today. It really has made him a better dog. He is still a little crazy but every time he goes he seems to act a little better, maybe I am crazy but I think he models the other dogs behavior a little. He is only
1 1/2 so he still has puppy in him and he is a lab mix which makes for a crazy dog. Unfortunately it is about a 1/2 hour ride to go but it is really nice. My kids love to see all the other dogs too. Gives you an idea how other breeds are. Lots of fun.

That sounds great! My dogs are very naughty when they are together out in public. If we take the older dog by himself, he is good. The younger dog not so good, because he hasn't been around other dogs/people enough.

There is a doggie park by my house and when it first opened up we took our Lab there. Then we heard that kennel cough was going around so we stopped going. Be careful you do could pick something up!
