Little Jellybean going for neuter tomorrow
That sweet little guy in my Avatar (or mister evil) is going to be neutered tomorrow. I just hate leaving them, if only you could explain it to them. I'm hoping this little devil will calm down a bit. Jellybean came to us sometime ago and loves to pester my older cat, I don't think they will ever really get along, but if he could just mellow out a bit...we could all get along. He is the baby and I love him, will he ever mellow out!!!
This morning I had just wiped down the kitchen floor and moved on to do the bathrooms....when I came back he had been in my flower pot on the patio (I left the door open) and he had drug back to my kitchen a big dirt claud and was rolling it back and forth....tail a flappin and dirt a flyin. He is into everything and has a very stubborn little attitude.
I wanted a kitten for the longest time and I must say I think this will be the last one. I had forgotten what a challenge they can be .

What a cutie pie! Neutering is the best thing for him. He will be healthier and live longer. I hope he feels great tomorrow!

He'll probably have the same look on his face (as in your avatar) tomorrow when they tell them what they are going to do to him. "Your gonna WHAT?!!"
Really is amazing how quick they bounce back from the surgery, good for you for getting him neutered.

A little over a year ago we had one of our cats Jack neutered. He is a true psycho cat. He attacked all of us many times. We all have scars from him. He got hubby so bad one time he could not move his finger for over a week. About 6 weeks after he was fixed, he really began to settle down. Vet told us once the hormones were out of his body we would begin to slowly see a change. He still attacks, but not like he use to. Now it is just normal cat pouncing behavior.
Good luck with him. He is adorable. Having him neutered is the best thing.DD (19)

He is indeed a cutie pie!

Yes he will calm down some, but being a kitten he will still get into things if he does now. My solution is my water bottle *insert evil laugh*
I presently have 7 kittens in the house and all but 2 now only have to see it and they go running.
Just say NO in an authoritative voice when you squirt him, don't soak him, one squirt will do the trick. Oh and wait until he heals a bit first from surgery.

Thank you so much. He does like to attack ...and man it really hurts when he has you around the ankle and won't let go and his ears are back. Funny I'v had this day marked on the calander for a couple months, little boys will spray the house too..so I definately wanted to get it done before he does that (yuck). He can't seem to understand why I fed the older cat and he didn't get any..."poor baby, if he only new". Thanks ladies, you all have a great day.

Good luck on Jellybean's surgery. I'm a cat lover myself. I have on female cat that is 3 years old. (she's been spayed) We have had a young male cat that has starting to call our house home. He's been here for 2 months now and has starting running in the house when someone comes in. I guess I need to take him for a little surgery also.

Well he is fine and home. He was really dopey last night and running into things and couldn't even walk very well. I just wanted him to lay down and go to sleep, but he was restless and pacing back and forth. He kept me up all night. They gave him some liquid pain med. .. wow can he be stubborn, he faught me over every little bit. He seems to be really mellow right now, maybe all put him in my bedroom for some quiet time today. I thought they would send him home with one of those collar things (so he can't chew) no apparently those cost extra. I already spent $105 , can you believe that pain medicine was optional !!! How could you not??
I'm just glad it's done, hopefully we can take a nap later.

I have to get our male dogs done this fall. It's good for them and will calm their "top dog" attitudes.
Good for you for getting it done. They live long happy hormone free (well, you know what i mean) lives afterwards.
