    Default The Kittens have arrived!

I am thrilled to announce that Ali's Outlaws have arrived on Nov. 11th!

Watching the kittens being born was something special. Ali is a wonderful mother and the kittens are thriving.

I will try to get some pictures tonight to share with y'all!

Thanks for letting me gush like a grannie over the kittens.

I'm so happy for you!! There's nothing more exciting than cute little grankitties. How many in the litter? Is that the proud Momma-cat in the photo? Details I want details!

Yes, my avatar is Ali and the Outlaws!
There are seven kittens! This is her second litter. Her first litter of seven, was born on April 10th (so this is one of those oops pregnancies) I have not figured out the gender of all the kittens.

I continue to be amazed at Ali and her mothering skills. It is so cute to watch her nurse her kittens. She purrs, curls her paws and is the picture of contentment.

Since we, the other Grannie and I, live in the town that Jesse James was born in, we went with the theme of the old west when we name the kittens.

The first litter we called the Kitten Gang. We named them Jesse, Frank, LB, Anna, Lucy, Zee and Mary Polly, after members of the James family.

Ali, the mother, is a Seal Point White Mitted RagaMuffin and Olly, the father, is a Creme Lynx Point RagaMuffin. RagaMuffins are large cats that sometimes act like dogs. They will greet you at the door and you can even train them to fetch their little toys. These cats are very lovable and purr like there is no tomorrow. They also bond with their families very quickly.

Now here is the shameless plug: I created a website for the cats. You can click the link in my signature and see more pictures of Ali, Olly, Uncle Jack and the Kitten Gang.

The Outlaws are now one week old. There is one kitten that is already 9oz! Ali has some powerful milk!!

Tomorrow, we Grannies are going to consider names for the kittens we know the genders and have strong markings showing up. I am very excited. One kitten has earned the name "One Eyed Willie" because only one eye has started to open.

I updated the website with some new pictures on the front page. I hope you will stop by and take a look, despite how long it the page takes to load. I am working on a solo page just for the Outlaws. For now, I hope you enjoy these pictures.

    Thanks for the wonderful comments.

I would love to have some little kitties.
But, I already have 2 cats and one, that's enough (for now! LOL) and I don't think they'd take too kindly to new ones in the house!

    Default Just an UPDATE

The kittens are just over 2 weeks old now. Their eyes are open and we Grannies have decided that there are four boys and two girls. Of course, in the next few weeks we will find out if we are right or wrong..LOL

We Grannies also settled on names tonight. We choose: Belle, Cole, Sundance, Archie, Lily, Willie and Tucker.
