    Default update on the hawks

    Thanks for the help,

We called Division of Wildlife, also a wildlife rehabilation refuge, that we work with,The big answer is to get a great horned owl...

Move it around alot, so they think it's real, if you leave it in the same place they figure out its not real.

A nursery is going to get one for us, kinda like a windsock, so it will move around.. also a scarecrow, that needs to be moved around too. ( your idea Missy!) hopefully by then some of the snow is melted down and they will go back to where they use to hunt.

We are working with our vet to get these guys fixed, Our vet is doing the surgerys at a discount to help us out.

Hopefully we can trap the Mom this week, to get her spayed, we thought we had more time, and wanted to wait until it warmed up.

Maybe I should call these guys our barn cats, instead of feral acts, these guys are our pets,, they are just not lap cats... yet..

    Well it worked!!

We put the owl out on top of the fence, The hawks kept a 1/4 mile distance,
    that was Wed. night.

Tonight we moved it to the top of the shop...
    They didn't even show up!!!

We just have to remember to bring it in every morning, and put it back out, somewhere different every afternoon.
