Smile Send a Good Thought for My Rosie

I am asking for some good thoughts and prayers sent our way...this morning my little Rosie (5 lb Chorkie) is getting spayed.
I spoke with the vet last week and again yesterday trying to calm myself down that everything will be ok....she is so tiny. I love all my furbabies so, so much.

    Thanks in advance!

I've got a little 5lb poodle going in, in July so I'll keep you in my thoughts. Hope she does great. (Size definately seems to make a difference in the worry factor. I didn't think much of it at all when my 85lb boarder collie went in.

You're so right Nomad....my Tangie (16lb) Pomeranian did just fine and I did not have this worry factor with her. My husband just called me and asked if I had taken Rosie yet..

not yet; between 7 and 8am...I'm milking it until the last minute. I just gave her a bath.

Thanks so much for the good thoughts!

I used to work in a vet clinic and I can tell you, spays are an easy procedure so I know your sweet puppy will be fine. I hope she recovers quickly!

I am so glad Rosie is doing well. I know that it is scary when our furbabies have to have surgery.

My Lucy was slow moving after her surgery. She loved the security of her crate.

Gentle hugs to Rosie from Lucy's family

She'll be back to normal in no time! Thank you for being a responsible pet owner and having her spayed.

Yep, all my "girls" are spayed. Rosie is doing great. Her little belly looks good and she is starting to get around better. I have to keep my eye on her though and I am so glad I had this 4 day weekend to watch her. My other girls; Tangie and Ms. Boots want to play with her and she can't jump or run too much yet.
